Just About Finished...

I am absolutely thrilled with this piece, I am at the finish line.  Now that this piece is almost complete I will now live with it for a bit, and find the areas that will be needing a little detail and glazing.  I hope to have this accomplished by next week.  It will be going into the gallery for sale.  Makes me a little sad to put a price tag on this painting, I know it will find a good home.

    Joyce, this is absolutely drop dead gorgeous. I love it. It's been such a treat to see this progression and now to see it finished...WOW...that's all.

    Thanks Mollie, your very sweet. I have a 3-day workshop this weekend and the lesson is on iceland poppies. Last week at another workshop I taught the hydrangea, silver compote lesson, it was it's farewell tour. So this fresh new lesson will be so fun to teach. I will take pictures of the students work and post it.
