The delicate folds begin with a grey mixture of Permanent Alizarin Crimson and Winsor Green (blue shade) I use a 1/4" square brush to paint the thick to thin lines of the folds

- I am a watercolorist and author my work has been published in numerous books and magazines including American Artist Watercolor featured on the front cover, Watercolor Magic, The Artist's Magazine, North Light's Splash 8 - Watercolor Discoveries, and Splash 10 - Passionate Brush Strokes and the more recent "Stunning Crystal and Glass" published by North Light Books, and my DVD Video "Stunning Crystal and Glass". In 1987 I attended the Academy of Art University in San Francisco focusing my studies on illustration, during my time at the Academy of Art I discovered watercolor and fell in love with this medium and became a full time watercolorist and instructor. From 1991 to 2001 she opened an art school of her own, "Emerald Lake Art Academy", in Redwood City, California. In 2002 I concentrated on developing a new technique in watercolor, painting from dark to light, and have found that my students thrived on this unique technique, and could see there paintings develop quicker.
